Tahini Hemp and Basil Dressing (NUT-FREE)

Tahini Hemp Basil Dressing Olivia Budgen Blog

Many people these days have an allergy or are sensitive to nuts, and are seeking for more nut-free dressings to pour over their salads. Personally, I prefer to eat seeds over nuts. I find them lighter on digestion and easier to digest. Tahini and hemp seeds are delicious on their own, but combined, they taste even better. With the addition of fresh basil this salad dressing is incredibly tasty. It is also high in protein and healthy fats making it very filling and nutritious – not to mention super creamy!

This dressing will pair nicely with any type of salad. So get creative and throw together your favourite ingredients. I’ve kept this salad raw and used mixed greens including baby spinach, arugula, cos lettuce. Then I’ve topped it with fresh dill, cherry tomatoes, red capsicum, avocado and soaked pumpkin seeds.
